Break Time
today in the reading it states: Jesus said to the crowds: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” WOW JESUS! THANK YOU! he is basically saying, come here, let me take that for you! sit down, have a breather! would you like something to drink? i’ll massage that for you! here, eat this.. ok maybe i added some of that, but do you get it? jesus is telling us that no burden no labor no nothing is bigger than him! not finals not job interviews not the daily hassels life brings-nothing! siiiiiiiigh what a relief. this week is the week i needed to hear that the most. seriously, tests that are not the final, the actual final, job interview, family shtuff, weird weather making me feel under the weather, cfcy business, mixed feelings about certain things, daily hassels of life!, etc. and then i read this?! oh man. i dont feel so stressed anymore. i mean, i am still nervous about tomorrow and i really really pray hope wish oh my gosh please! want that job, but despite everything on my mind, i am feeling pretty calm.
besides, DC is in two days and i know that’s going to be a great way to kick off my break. oh yeah and not having to look at numbers and think i am reading some manual in chinese will make me feel better too!
